Great place to stay at if you’re (solo) traveling on a budget!

Great place to stay at if you’re (solo) traveling on a budget in Oxford! It’s really close to the city center and the staff is super friendly and welcoming! I can only recommend it and I will be staying here again. Would have loved some curtains on the bed for privacy reasons but still a 10/10!

I felt very comfortable

Very pleasant stay. It is all very clean and the service is good: I got a small guided tour of the premises right on arrival and the offer to store my luggage in the luggage compartment. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can also store food (shelf/fridge) in case you want to eat from the supermarket. Once a week there is a free communal dinner and a movie night in the movie room and other events. You can also buy adapters if you don't have one. The beds are good. The sound insulation is also good, only with the thermal insulation it is a bit difficult, as in almost all old English buildings. But you can regulate the heating yourself, so that wasn't a problem either, and that's also the only criticism I've ever come up with. All in all, I am very satisfied and will gladly come back on occasion. They're really nice people too!

Quaint Central Backpacker Hostel

This backpacker hostel is easy to find, just a few minutes away from train station and near to Oxford Castle and Prison and Fisher Row river. The hostel has good security measures, very well equipped with common area, etc. The staff are very friendly too.
