Family run, cosy b&b. Great complimentary continental breakfast.
Really lovely B&B. Owner friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of nice little touches in the room - toiletries, small bar of chocolate etc. Room very comfortable and clean. Only constructive criticism - for there to be a mirror closer to the plug socket (I couldn't see the mirror when drying my hair + shower temperature fluctuated a bit. The shower was very 'space age' but I managed to work it out after careful perusal of the instructions. Parking is available but it is first come first served. We parked up with no issues on our first day, but foolishly drove off to visit Polperro - on our return our space (unsurprisingly) had gone. Not a big deal as I managed to park nearby (not free). Breakfast continental was plentiful and really lovely. Cooked option extra but v good value. Close to Looe itself, shirt (20 mins) walk to the harbour etc). Would recommend.

Wonderful Stay
Location was excellent just off the town centre with its own car park. Staff were brilliant each and every one of them. Immaculately clean and tidy. Nothing was a problem. Service was outstanding. Noise level was non existent. Couldnt have been more welcomed by Kathryn the owner who made us feel so at home. Room was perfect and comfortable. Value was 11 out of 10. Would not hesitate to recommend these premises only a BandB but outclasses many hotels that I have stayed in.

Exceptional Hospitality and a Wonderful Stay in Looe
My wife and I recently spent three nights at The Captain's House in Looe to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.
From the moment we arrived, Kathryn made us feel genuinely welcome. She was friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with local information or anything we needed during our visit. Alison, who looked after breakfast each morning, was equally warm and welcoming.
Our room was spotlessly clean and appeared to have been recently decorated, giving it a fresh and comfortable feel. The property also benefits from on-site parking, which is a real bonus in Looe.
The included continental breakfast offered an excellent selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, and freshly made toast. For those wanting something more substantial, cooked breakfast items were also available at a reasonable additional cost.
What really sets The Captain's House apart is the exceptional service. A special mention must go to Tom, who went above and beyond when another guest discovered they had a flat tyre. Tom removed the wheel, took it to be repaired, and returned it while the guest was out sightseeing. It was a remarkable act of kindness and a perfect example of how much the team cares about their guests.
The Captain's House combines comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfast options, convenient parking, and genuinely outstanding hospitality. We left feeling more like friends than customers.
We would not hesitate to recommend The Captain's House to anyone visiting Looe and would happily stay there again.

Golden Wedding Celebration
We visited beautiful Looe for 3 days (16-19th July)to celebrate my in- laws Golden Wedding Anniversay. Sadly we were unable to stay at The Captains House. I rang prior to our vist to enquire if any florists were available in the location. Unfortunately not, However, Kathryn the propreitor offered to arrange flowers in the room for me. She also allowed us to visit for a lunch celebration on the special day. I would highly recommend staying at the Captains House, book early to avoid dissapointment as Kathryn and her staff are amazing from start to finish. A big thankyou for helping with our celebration. Gorgeous
We were only here for one night this time, but have found our new place to stay in Looe. Really impressed with this place: there's parking (far from being a given in Looe). The rooms are beautifully done, and have everything you could possibly want, including a fridge, and some luxury extras. The owner and her team were really lovely. Location is great: a level walk into the town, but away from the hustle and bustle. Really close to the railway station for days out. The continental breakfast was of excellent quality, and we were able to eat breakfast on the front terrace. Altogether a very relaxing and pleasant stay - highly recommend.
