Dear D'montrio Hotels London Management Team,
I am writing to express our heartfelt appreciation for the wonderful experience we had during our 9-night / 10-day stay at 196 Bishop Street, London.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. The entire experience was truly memorable, and a huge part of that was because of the exceptional people who looked after us.
We would especially like to extend our special compliments and deepest appreciation to Abi, Poorva, and Danica. Each of them went far beyond what one would normally expect. They were incredibly helpful, warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and special. Their kindness and willingness to help made each and every moment of our stay even more enjoyable.
It is rare to come across people who make guests feel so genuinely valued, and we feel that Abi, Poorva, and Danica deserve 10 stars out of 5 each ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The location was great. The size of the rooms were fine. It was clean, but when I originally booked, it said there was air-conditioning we arrived in London on one of the hottest weeks ever to find out that the air-conditioning since the resale of the property the air-conditioning was not working we had fans and our last night there it was somewhat unbearable, especially in one of the bedrooms where the windows do not open so you could not even get a breeze in that room

Booking issues
Six weeks before arrival, the hotel informed us that our reservation would be changed to two single rooms due to renovations. After several weeks of communication and only with the involvement of Hotels.com, our original booking of an apartment was confirmed again.
Room conditions
Upon arrival, we were initially still assigned two separate rooms, and further clarification with management was required before we were given the booked apartment.
The first apartment was in poor condition, with a completely frozen freezer, a living room window that could not be closed, and generally worn and poorly maintained facilities.
After being moved to a second apartment, the window was functional, but the freezer was still frozen, the bathroom floor was cracked, and the apartment was also very run-down and clearly in need of renovation. In addition, there was constant noise from a ventilation system at night, making it necessary to sleep with earplugs.
Service response
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and housekeeping was sent to defrost the freezer.
Positives
The hotel staff were welcoming, and the location is very central with easy access to public transport and attractions.
Overall conclusion
Although the service from the staff was good, the standard of the apartment did not meet expectations.

I made this booking in December 2025 for my hen do. I received booking confirmation last week confirming my stay, only to arrive to be informed it was under new management. Extremely stressful situation which ruined the start of the weekend!

Great staff - excellent service. Brilliant apartment in the centre of London. Very good for getting around London quickly & easily.
