Perfect 10 out of 10

Perfect from start to finish. Room, food and staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The grounds are beautiful and will definitely be returning

This manor was absolutley stunning. Unfortunately, my bedroom was so dirty,
The block I was in was so run down.
The staff seemed tired out, since I believe this is mostly a wedding venue that had just taken place. The manager of the hotel was extremely helpful and did everything possible to find me another room. However the second one did not have the views or was not what I booked, and again, dusty and dirty. I have photos I can send to you as in all honesty I have never stayed in a hotel where I picked up the telephone to call reception and it was covered in sticky stuff.
Upon calling the staff, the manager came down and agreed the room was not up to standard. There was dust every where, the walls cracking with paint coming off, marks on the window. I then pulled back the bed sheets with him there to find some hairs in my bed. It’s such a shame. I was quite shocked that I was sent to the Bar/ restaurant with no staff there firstly and then having to pay for a snack and refreshment while they put clean sheets on. No one had even been called in to clean the room. Again. Amazing amazing manor. It just needs some TLC.
The manor its self is stunning. But in terms of hygiene I would not stay here again until a bit of money has been invested in to making the standard of a room sold online is up to standards.
As mentioned, staff tried to help, but nothing more they could do.

Ok stay room was noisy due to thin walls ceilings , could hear room above talking and I’m sure they could us,
Clean n tidy room
Breakfast was adequate but on the website it states that Eggs Royale was available at breakfast , so we booked only to be told on the day it’s not!
I assume the cook could not make the hollandaise as they had eggs and smoked salmon!! Really disappointing

Beautiful venue, friendly staff. But both nights I stayed, they had functions on. I've never heard music that loud - non-stop until midnight. Terrible night's sleep both nights, and that's ultimately what I am paying for.
