Weekend in Bath

Lovely staff but the ‘ EIGHT’ wasn’t for us.
We stayed before and had a large room overlooking the square, this time we’re in the main building on the top floor. We are not getting any younger and having to walk up 4 flights of stairs with 2 heavy cases, no lift sadly. We both struggled.
The rooms are also small and I think the hotel is overpriced.
Definitely not a hotel for anyone with disabilities.

What a lovely stay. Could not be more helpful. I have mobility issues and they went above and beyond help, was so appreciated. Breakfast was top quality. Special thanks to Donna who was our star and angel

8 has a wonderful helpful staff. A perfect location near many Bath favorites and also a short walk to the train station. The breakfast was excellent. We will certainly stay there again when we visit Bath. Thanks to all the friendly staff …

Countless added bonuses

Absolutely faultless. We had visited Bath before and fell in love with the tree in Abbey Square, the room we had at Eight had a perfect view of it. With the sound of musicians playing nearby coming through the open window, joined by the bustling cafés during the day, and a very peaceful spot at night. The room surpassed expectations and we made the most of the honesty bar, which really added to our whole experience in Bath, drinking in an old medieval cellar! The Lady at reception greeted us with such enthusiasm and friendliness, and offered to keep our bags for us on our leaving day so we could explore Bath at ease. She is a brilliant representation for the hotel and made us even more certain of our inevitable return! (Probably Christmas) Thank you all at Eight for such a beautiful weekend away!
