It is nice to have your own little cabin. My cabin was a bit old and dated but worked fine for me. Nice quiet location back away from the road. Only negative was bathroom smelled pretty terrible but with door shut couldn’t smell in room.

I booked here because it was close to Doi Inthanon park. Then the lady owner booked me a taxi for the day to travel to two nature trails, summit, twin pagodas and two waterfalls a full day. The cabins are comfortable, with a hot shower, western toilet, a fridge in the room. There is no kettle in the room but there is a communal area where you can have as many hot drinks as you require. Safe water refills also provided. Lady owner ordered me a take away for dinner at night as it is a little off the beaten track. Breakfast is provided whit is two rounds of bread with jam and there is a toaster if required. Overall stay ideal for the park. 5 mins from entrance and 40mins from summit by vehicle.

A terrible choise
I booked one night in this "resort" inspired by its proximity to the national park and quiet a few good reviews (that I feel now are questionable). It was a bad idea....
The house was very small with no desk whatsoever. Bed sheets and linen were of terrible quality. We found a spider under our blanket while preparing for a sleep. Someone bit us during the night (either flea or bedbugs). Before we went to bed, I found out that the shower heater was simply disconnected from its water source. The bathroom door is too low (around 5 feet tall) - my friend hit her head badly. There was a crazy cat with a bell attached to its collar that chased us into our house and refused to leave without a half of my dinner. There was also a pack of stray dogs roaming around our house the whole night. The breakfast was terrible - a warm pre-packed sandwich of questionable quality and a small box of non-perishable milk. At around 6 AM the management of the resort started some loud construction work right in front of our house.
Verdict: avoid this place at all costs (even if offered for free)

Terrible Choice
I booked three nights in this "resort", but left after one. The room stunk of moth balls and hadn't been properly cleaned. The springs from the mattress dug into my back. Hoping I'd get some relief, I flipped the mattress over only to discover stains on both sides of the mattress and evidence of bedbugs, I woke up with bites in the morning. The excellent reviews of this run down hotel should be treated with suspicion. If you plan on visiting Doi Inthanon National Park, a better choice would be to stay in the park itself, thus avoiding multiple fees for entry. I stayed at Mr. Daeng's and was very happy.

Fleas in the bed and dishonest management
They have a special idea of what a resort is. Almost impossible to find at night. Location with nothing interesting around, only useful to the National park, that anyway is almost 30 kms away. Even when the bathroom's window doesn't have any glasses and it was 8 degrees cold, they wanted to charge us 100 bat for each extra blanket. Last but not least, that night I was attacked by fleas that came with the blanket provided with the room. Even worst: as I checked out very early and didn't want to wake up the clerk, I left the money wrapped together with the rooms' keys below a counter inside the reception office. The money couldn't have been found by someone foreign to the hotel, but even so, the owner said he/she didn't find it, charged the room to my credit card and stubbornly refused to return me the money. Forget it, stay somewhere else.

เราและคุณต่างรู้่สึกเสียใจต่อเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น เราในฐานะเจ้าของของชึ้แจงว่าท่านได้จองผ่านBooking.comมา ซึ่งเราได้กำหนดนโยบายไว้ใน www.booking.com ว่า ทางเราสามารถเรียกเก็บเงินตามบัตรเครดิตได้หลังจากทางจอง ซึ่งก่อนท่านจะกดตกลงท่านจะพบข้อความนี้ ซึ่งถือปฏิบัติต่อลูกค้าทุกคน และเราจะแจ้งยกเลิกการจองเมื่อบัตรเครดิตไม่ผ่าน ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้มั่นใจได้ว่าลูกค้าจะมีห้องพักเมื่อมาถึง โดยเฉพาะช่วงไฮด์ซีซั่น ดังนั้นเราจึงเรียกเก็บเงินตามบัตรเครดิตท่าน ก่อนท่านจะเข้าพัก ซึ่งถือเป็นการปฏิบัติเป็นการทั่วไปของโรงแรม ท่านเองก็คงได้รับ SMS หรือการแจ้งเตือนว่ามีการเรียกเก็บเงินผ่านหมายเลขบัตรเครดิตของท่าน ในวันที่ท่านมาถึง เมื่อเช็คอินก็ไม่มีการเรียกเก็บเงินจากท่านเนื่องจากเราได้แจ้งพนักงานว่าท่านจ่ายแล้ว ท่านก็ควรจะแปลกใจหน่อยว่า ทำไม รีสอร์ทไม่เรียกเก็บเงินท่านก่อนเข้าพัก ท่านก็ไม่ถาม ท่านเข้าพักโดยไม่ถามและไม่จ่ายเงินเมื่อเช็คอิน เมื่อท่านออกท่านอ้างว่าท่านคืนกุญแจพร้อมแนบเงินไว้โดยนำมาคืนที่เคาเตอร์ ซึ่งขณะนั้นไม่มีพนักงานอยู่ ไปทำความสะอาด รองรับลูกค้าชุดใหม่ ทางเราไม่รู้ว่าท่านทำได้อย่างไร ไม่มีใครอยู่แล้วยังจะวางเงินไว้ที่เคาเตอร์ ไม่มีการส่งเงินให้พนักงานหรือเจ้าของหรือโทรแจ้งเจ้าของเลย ท่านคงลืมไปว่าที่นี่เป็นรีสอร์ทมีคนเดินเข้าออกทั้งลูกค้า พนักงานประจำ พนักงานชั่วคราว วันที่ท่านเข้าพักลูกค้าเต็มทุกหลัง เรามี 40 หลัง ลูกค้าเป็น 100 คน เบอร์โทรเจ้าของก็มีติดที่กระจก ก็ไม่โทรแจ้งทั้งที่ทำได้ หลังจากนั้ท่านได้ร้องเรียนผ่านทาง Booking เข้ามาว่าเราเรียกเก็บเงิน 2 ครั้ง โดยท่านอ้างว่าเราไปเรียกเก็บเงินผ่านบัตรเครดิต ทั้งที่กระบวนการเรียกเก็บตามบัตรเครดิตได้เกิดขึ้นก่อนท่านเข้าพักเสียอีก ทางBooking ได้มีหนังสือด่วนมาหาเราในเรื่องนี้ และเราได้ชี้แจงตามเอกสารหลักฐาน จนทางBooking ยอมรับว่าเราปฏิบัติตามนโยบายที่มีต่อลูกค้า และ Booking ได้โทรหาลูกค้าเพื่อแจ้งให้ทราบ แต่ท่านก็ไม่ยอมรับ พยายามดิ้นรนระบายความแค้นผ่านช่องทางต่างๆ รวมทั้ง Tripadivisor เพราะทาง Booking รับทราบพฤติกรรมท่านจากเอกสารหลักฐานที่เราชี้แจ้งไปจึงไม่ตอบสนองการกระทำของท่านอีก เราเน้นว่าหากเราไม่ซื่อสัตย์หรือถือโอกาส ทางBooking คงไม่ยอมให้เราเป็นคู่ค้ามาจนทุกวันนี้ และที่สำคัญเราพึ่งพบการกระทำของลูกค้าในลักษณะนี้เป็นครั้งแรก จากความเห็นของท่านดูเหมือนท่านไม่พอใจในหลายประเด็น หลายเรื่อง ตั้งแต่อากาศ(วันที่ท่านพักมีฝนพร่ำๆ ทำให้อากาศหนาวเย็นขึ้น ซึ่งเราก็ไม่เคยเจอแบบนี้มาหลายปี) ห้องพัก ค่าบริการผ้าห่ม(ซึ่งเราต้องซักหลังท่านใช้เราจึงเรียกเก็บค่าบริการ)
