Basic, inexpensive and comfortable hotel. Conveniently 5 to 10 minute walk too many eating and drinking places.

Everything was very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful. He was very affordable. Location was very good within walking distance to many cafés, coffee, shops, and convenience stores. Room was basic and comfortable. Room included a balcony, but had no outdoor chairs for balcony. Lobby area was very comfortable to stay and relax after going around old city of Thailand. Housekeeping workers did a great job with daily cleaning of the room. Additional amenities would be welcomed and appreciate, such as, hair dryer for the room, an iron for pressing clothes, and especially a hot water kettle to make tea or coffee in the room.

An Average Hotel

I stayed here for 2 weeks in April 2016.It was about $17 a night. The furnishing were decent with a nice granite desk and bathroom sink if I remember correctly. The reception was not particularly friendly and that makes a big difference to me.Professional courtesy from a hotel's reception is basic hospitality management 101.If they can't perform something this simple correctly, it is generally a reflection of how the rest of place is managed. The bell boy was kind and helpful. The hotel is on a busy little soi with noisy motorbikes reving all day and night. The view and general surrounding area are not attractive. There are many other hotels with serene greenery and pleasant views.I would be dissapointed if I travelled all the way to Chiang mai on vacation and had to be in this area.
