Excellent Chettinadu food at very affordable prices
Woodlands Inn has a restaurant on the ground floor. On Fridays they serve one of the best mutton biryani in Bangkok. Their Chicken 65 and other Indian dishes are also outstanding.

Bad experience, unfriendly staff, dirty hotel, we could find rubish around the common areas, noisy hall, shower too old and unconfortable, the room size is ok for the price and the only good thing is wifi works perffectly, the location is not too bad but stores close little bit early

Beware of these Scam Artists!
We booked a room for New Year's Eve and NY Day on December 3rd. Reservation was confirmed and credit card was charged. Friends told us that they had been baited and switched here previously and were stuck in the lobby arguing about their reservation and were told they had to pay more because that rate was no longer available.
We called the day before traveling to confirm that the room we requested was going to be ready for us. Sure enough, we were told that our reservation was cancelled in their system on Dec 18th because, "the 3rd party site we used overbooked the rooms". She told me it was Expedia, but that is not the site we used. I asked her to please book me in a different room and she said they had no rooms, but she would put me on a waiting list.
Then I called the booking site. They had not received notification that my room was cancelled, it was still active in their system. And I have still not received notification that the room was cancelled by the hotel. I have also not yet received a refund to my credit card for a cancellation that supposedly happened 2 weeks ago.
The 3rd party site was very efficient about booking us in a different hotel down the road--a lovely suite with a kitchenette--for a lower rate, but I can just imagine me standing in The Woodland's Inn lobby being told that I don't have a reservation and the only room available to me is $299/night. My concern is that I have now paid for 2 rooms for this weekend, and I have to trust that I will eventually get my refund.
As an FYI, when I got off the phone with all parties, I checked The Woodland's Inn website and they still showed rooms available. As did all the other 3rd party booking sites I checked.
I wonder how many people they have scammed into paying a higher rate by low-balling their posted online rate and then saying they no longer have a reservation after people show up to check in? They are disgusting.

Disgusting
Absolutely awful. Bugs in the bathroom. Mould between the tiles. Shower barely holding itself. Fridge not cleaned from the previous guests, there was something rotting in it. Hard beds, hard pillows, VERY loud people around. The doors and walls are thin, you can hear everything that's echoing in the hall, as well as the other guests using their bathrooms. The elevator is small and claustrophobic. Our room had NO windows, which was not specified. No toiletries available. The location is also quite discouraging.
We left after two nights instead of four, luckily we got half of the money back.
Definitely not recommend to anyone, even for a one night stay.

I can't believe
Worst Hotel, By the way we should not call as a Hotel. This place is full of ****. I book this hotel by Booking.com for 2 nights, 18th and 19th August 2017.
They send me on room number 613, which is on the 6th floor. Where i have to climb 72 vertical steep with my bag because there is NO ELEVATOR. No Internet coverage. tear bedsheets , tear blankets, tear window curtains , Air-condition is to noisy , dirty windows. It's horrible.
Anyway I stayed that night but next morning i went to reception to tell all about and he (indain) is saying no no we mentioned in Booking.com that internet is only in lobby ( layer ) I showed him the list from Booking.com giving facilities. After this all they change my room to 105.
Where is internet in noon time but in night no internet again.... my goodness..
Anyway at let night i went to reception ( one indain man who should take retirement anyway i salute him he is still doing night shifts) to arrange wakeup call morning at 6am and i went in room but there is no telephone set in my room, I can't believe my self. And after sometimes they arrange that phone set from other room, and finally iv wakeup call but but at 5:45 am . Instead of 6am. This hotel should close or hotel owner should change all staff except breakfast women and bellboys .
I have a very very bad experience in this Disgusting place.
