Fantastic location, charming rooms

Hotel is located in the beautiful old town of Wil with windows either to the old town or to the pond.
The rooms are large and charming as well as in the original style. Really great. Also bathroom is cozy and big.
The kitchen and dining room are on the first floor and very modern to ancient, which makes it very charming. The additions to breakfast are ok and the baker 4 months on foot. Only the coffee machine is useless.
The bed is optimized for convenience (with pillow to the wall), which I think would be important.
Administrative matters work. What's bad is that you have to be out at 10am.

Lovely little B&B

Really nice spacious rooms, nice big bathrooms. Very clean & just super cozy! This was our second stay here & I always feel like I'm at home. It's really convenient with self-check-in and is situated in a beautiful part of the old town of Wil.

Pleasant and affordable B&B in medieval lodging

Wil has a very well preserved medieval town center (mostly pedestrian area, no through traffic). This B&B is located in the middle of the old town and has only four double rooms. It overlooks the town's pond on one side and the main street on the other. There is a small terrace on the pond side, a big breakfast room on the 2nd floor (one floor up from street level) and there are two rooms each on the two following floors. The wooden floors are obviously a bit creaky so it's recommended to ask for one of the top floor rooms. Accommodation is large as are the bathrooms, everything has been refurbished and modernized (this used to be the residence of the local clergyman, we were told), there are sufficient wall sockets to plug your chargers, and breakfast spread is ample enough for most tastes and appetites (everything is freshly prepared and a lady is there in the morning to service the guests). There is even an Italian Espresso machine (a life-saver as far as we are concerned). Since we have to return to Wil in a few months, we already booked our next room.

good centrally located B&B in Wil

good centrally located B&B in Wil, where you can also arrive late at night thanks to an inventive key lock system. Nice wooden floor, unfortunately this gives quite some noise for the neighboring guests.

Very nice!

I was staying there because of a Zumba(R) instructor training I took in Uzwil the next day and I was looking for a nice and cheap (for Swiss standards) place to sleep that is close to the train station (10 min walk).
Check-in was uncomplicated: I arrived rather late, but had received a code for the key box to retrieve the key for my room and the main entrance. In the reception area, there were also many flyers with information about the area. The room was simple, but very spacious and clean. The bathroom was also very nice (freshly renovated) and was also spacious, clean and had everything I needed (towels, hairdryer, shampoo). There is no minibar, but downstairs, there is a fridge with some drinks you can buy. They also have a huge lounge area as well as a terrace (I unfortunately did not see, as I only stayed for the night). Breakfast was good (not like in a four star hotel, but you find almost everything you need).
I would highly recommend this place to nearly everybody: I was traveling solo (as did the others I met during breakfast), but I imagine that it would be also very nice for a family. Only for couples, there might be a tiny problem, as the room I slept in had two single beds. The entire place is very charming (probably due to the "family style").
