top dinner

we can only rate the restaurant as we dined there. the cheese cuts and the rösti were great. the rhubarb cake also. service staff all very nice and courteous. entrance hotel and the corridor down to the restaurant very nicely decorated with beautiful farm furniture and other small bijoux’s

Great experience

Excellent hotel. Spacious rooms with a nice balcony. Warm and familiar climate. Excellent walnut cake which is their specialty. We had a great time, only drawback the lack of the bidet.... But perhaps Switzerland is one of those nations that does not use it. Too bad!

Nice hotel except for the "military" dining room

A 3* hotel that fully meets your requirements. The rooms are nice and bright and big enough. The hotel is attractively centrally located in Sils. Unfortunately the heating in the bathroom didn't work and some parts were broken. The staff is distantly friendly and not very present (which actually wasn't a problem at all). The breakfast was very good, the dinner still has room for improvement. The dining room is also very unattractive for hotel guests and is more reminiscent of a canteen. This was solely due to the arrangement of the tables. With very little stylistic element and some rearranging of the tables you could create a very friendly atmosphere. However, you can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience and certainly have a wonderful holiday

Pleasant stay in Engadin

We have stayed at Hotel Seraina's 2 1/2 room appartement (north) for one week. The hotel has a lovely Engadin feel, with a pleasant wooden interior and many typical decorations. Lovely place, very quiet, good sleep. Enough space. The closet is in fact a space under the roof, our children loved it. Nice bathroom with free toiletries. To get to this appartment, you may use the lift but after that you still have to walk through the corridors and use the stairs (we didn't mind it, the corridors are so lovely decorated so I have enjoyed it every time).
When staying at Seraina, you get a guest card which makes it possible to travel through Engadin for free (including all the cable cars, bus and train). We have used it every day, saving a lot of money. There is a bus stop just a minute from the hotel and changing to train at St. Moritz only takes two or three minutes, very efficient. A supermarket is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel has a private subterranean parking garage with an entrance on the other side of the street which is a private part of a larger garage. Tip: don't forget your flash light, the garage light switches off automatically and in the private part there are apparently no sensors so you can easily find yourself in a complete darkness.
When leaving, we have got two little walnut tarts - very nice!

Perfect location, nice hotel.

This is a quality hotel in a prime location for visiting the beautiful upper Engadin. Sils Maria is a lovely village and the Hotel Seraina is positioned by the main bus stop, Sils Maria, Posta. We opted for a larger room, with additional seating and a balcony, much appreciating the extra space. A super modern bathroom with underfloor heating was great. We chose half board, the convenience and price very welcome. The Engadin pass provided by the hotel gives free local bus/ train/ cablecar rides, the reception staff are very friendly, the rooms are immaculate.
