Great Hotel

I was in the hotel for 4 nights. The owner was so nice. He gave us tips for our vacation. His food was very good (the best Kottu). The rooms were clean and the bathroom was very modern.

A Disastrous Stay - Avoid at All Costs

W1 Ella Resort fell short in almost every aspect. With no WiFi, no TV, no toiletries, no bed tea, and tasteless food, it certainly wasn’t worth the money. I would not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ella.

Lovely homestay in Ella

Cute homestay run by a dad with 2 sons who were just super sweet and caring! Room and bathroom were great with a great view of the mountains. Highly recommended. And their cooking was delicious too!

Paradise!

After three weeks in Sri Lanka and many places visited, I can say that W1 Ella Resort was the most beautiful and best place we stayed in.
The apartament is close to the center, but you don't feel it at all because of the amazing views and silence (not counting the sounds of animals). It’s great to stay there while visiting Ella and Haputale. It’s really magical place with the nicest staff in the world! I recommend it with all my heart and hope to be back soon
