The accommodation was very well maintained. We enjoyed the comfortable room which was well cleaned. The check-in process was seamless, even though the communication with the host for matters other than the check-in was rather difficult. The AC was not working properly. The building is quite old and therefore it was rather poorly soundproofed.
We had an unpleasant experience during the morning where staff entered our room without knocking, twice! We tried to use the door lock for additional safety but as it turns out, it can be overridden easily by personnel. The location is great, close to the city center and the beach.

A house without service

The only positive thing we can say is that the rooms actually look like the photos.
But for me, the heart of a house always includes the people who run it and the service... Unfortunately, there is no such thing at Mimosa Suites. No one can be reached via the landline number. Then suddenly texts arrive about an unknown number without salutation and without knowing who is texting you. That the air conditioning was broken and our room was heated to 26 degrees absolutely nobody cared.
Before arrival, a higher amount has already been charged than the booking fee. Again, there was no explanation or contact person.
Then comes a text message that we should just put the 20€ for the dog in cash on the table. Without receipt and without invoice. Then after our departure the 20€ was also debited from the credit card. Probably the cleaning lady was happy about the 20€ tip.
Oh, and the cleaning lady was in the room, but didn't mop the floor, which was full of sand. We did that ourselves in the evening.
Never again Mimosa Suites!!!

Worst reception ever

Never before have I experienced such an unfriendly and bad reception in an accommodation. The apartment may only be occupied from 16.00, which I feel is quite late. My request to move into the room a little earlier was rejected. The code for the door will be sent to me at 4pm, my number has it. Nothing happened at 4 p.m. Had to call again when I finally had my code back and forth after a long time (the lady was too strenuous to search under the Booking.com booking number). Unfortunately, the keycode system also did not work properly, again I had to call, the lady became more and more annoyed.
Apart from me, another couple who arrived at the same time as me also had no code (almost 5 pm meanwhile).
It said the breakfast could be booked at the sister hotel, but in this regard there was no communication or demand, or the possibility to do so on site.
The room itself was okay, but nothing more. The cleaning was rather moderate, no dust was wiped longer, the mirror in the bathroom had streaked.
I wouldn't book there anymore. Had I had a vacation, it would have hailed my arrival to the most beautiful time of the year. I will also inform my company of my vote, and I do not want to put my colleagues through such a thing.

Modern hotel and everything within walking distance

Nice hotel, very clean, close to town and the train station, easy to reach on foot, rooms are well equipped! The bed is very comfortable and there is a small kitchen with dishes, fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine! In the bathroom you will find everything you need! There is no reception and you get your key card with a pin code! It is not far from the beach either!
