Zentral, einfach gut

Netter freundlicher Empfang, die Zimmer waren gepflegt, sauber und gemütlich einzig das Bett war etwas abgerockt aber für das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis eine sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war okay es gab Eier, Brötchen, Wurst, Käse etwas Gemüse, O´saft und Kaffee alles Ausreichend um gut in den Tag zu starten.

Simply bad

I have stayed in many hotels, but this was the worst I have ever experienced. I'll start with the bathroom. It was impossible to shower because the shower head could not be fixed, so the water got everywhere but on your body. Washing was just as bad because there was only a tiny sink. Then into the bedroom, or rather the room where you spend time. The mattresses are long past their best. I always rolled to the side because the mattress was so saggy, it was just awful. We were there in August and as you know, the first week was cold. The duvet was also long past its best. There was only filling in places, otherwise you only had a duvet cover. It was just awful. I don't understand why such accommodations are ever inspected, they shouldn't be rented out anymore. And you can forget about breakfast too. The egg that I didn't eat today was cut up the next day. Eggshells from the day before were still stuck to the plate, just awful! A room like that can ruin your vacation. It was just awful and I would recommend everyone to avoid this accommodation.

A modest, yet OK hotel

Located in the centre of Walldürn the Gasthaus Zum Burgtörle is family owned and operated. The simple hotel offers 5 rooms and has a restaurant & Biergarten.
Our room was adequately furnished with desk & chair, TV, wardrobe, OK double bed, and a separate small bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower cubicle. All was clean. Staffs are friendly. Free parking of bicycles in the basement. The buffet breakfast is OK with breads, cold cuts, cheese, tea & coffee.
We had a pleasant stay at the Zum Burgtörle Gaststätte.

Freundlich, zentral, empfehlenswert

Das Burgtörle liegt mitten im Altstadtzentrum von Walldürn, es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes historisches Fachwerkhaus mit entsprechendem Charme (aber natürlich auch resultierend eher unebenen Böden und schiefen Wänden).
Wir haben uns im Drei-Bett-Zimmer im Burgtörle sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer bot ausreichend Platz und war nett eingerichtet. Auch die Betten waren okay, wenn vielleicht auch am Ehesten der Punkt, der Richtung drei Punkten geht, weil sie schon etwas wackelig waren.
Das Badezimmer war sehr geräumig und bot eine komfortable Regendusche (mit allerdings eher niedriger Decke).
Alles war sauber und gepflegt.
Auch das Frühstück war sehr nett, wir waren die einzigen Gäste und erhielten eine schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken direkt am Tisch.
Insgesamt können wir das Burgtörle nur rundum als kleine nette charmante Pension in historischem Ambiente empfehlen.

Gute Übernachtung

Beim familiengeführten Hotel Burgtörle handelt es sich um ein ein altes Fachwerkhaus im mittelalterlichen Zentrum von Walldürn.
Unser ausreichend großes Zimmer war sauber und es gab ein gutes, ausreichendes Frühstück zu dem von uns gewünschten Zeitpunkt.
Leider lassen sich die Fenster mit den orangen Rollos nicht gut verdunkel.
Wünschenswert wäre eine Kofferablage gewesen, daher mussten wir unseren Koffer auf die beiden Bistrostühle legen.
Für Personen, die Problemen beim Treppensteigen haben, ist das Burgtörle leider ungeeignet.
Wie auch bei den anderen Hotels im Stadtzentrum muss man mit sehr frühem Glockengeläut am Sonntagmorgen rechnen.
