Hotel to feel good

This small, family-run hotel is located in a quiet residential area, the centre (e.g. castle garden) is 1 km away. Our room was clean, very functionally decorated, there was even a large fridge and stovetop. Very small note: It took a very long time for the shower to deliver warm water. Breakfast was extensive and left nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy, however, is the very warm, friendly and helpful nature of the lady at the reception who also directed the breakfast. Any hotel owner can count himself lucky to have such employees with commitment. A hotel to come back to.

Round of applause for Hotel Berlin!!!

We come to Schwetzingen at least 3 times a year and have always stayed as central as possible but this time we decided to save a little and book our hotel a bit further out (still only a 10 minuets walk from the centre of town). The hotel has the basics of everything you require, clean rooms, comfy beds & free wifi. What we didn't expect to receive is such friendly welcoming staff. After staying in so many hotels we begin to think that the cold regimented, yet efficient, service is the norm. No it's not!!! From the moment we arrived we have felt so very welcome. We had our first evening meal of the day at the mirage restaurant (part of the hotel) and within an hour we are mingling with the locals, personally thanking the chef and chatting to the owner, all while having the pleasure of dealing with the kindest and most attentive hotel barmaid/waitress we have experienced in 12 years of coming to shwetzingen. Usually we stay out as late as possible in the evening to enjoy the fruits of the glorious Brauhaus (best beer in town of not the world), now we find ourselves leaving early to go back and enjoy the company of the welcoming staff at the hotel Berlin. We will be coming back very soon and for years to come. Well done Hotel Berlin!!

Gebuchtes Zimmer nicht frei, unfreundlich

Braucht man nicht buchen. Meine Buchung vom 22.4. über HRS war ins Nirwana gelaufen. Und nun standen wir da am 5.9.. mit Konzertkarten und ohne Zimmer. Das Hotel nahm keinerlei Schuld auf sich und ließ uns wie Obdachlose von der Tür stehen. Danke HRS für die Orga von Ersatz. Ich hoffe, das Hotel Berlin wird für diesen Fauxpas und die Unfreundlichkeit bestraft. War eh nicht so schick…..

Liebenswert!

Eine ungewöhnlich liebenswerte und engagierte junge Dame kümmerte sich zu 150 % Prozent um unser Wohlergehen. Sie empfing ins bereits auf der Strasse!, damit wir ja den perfekten Parkplatz einnehmen konnten und ihre Freundlichkeit jedem gegenüber konnten wir das ganze Wochenende sehen und spüren. Auch am Telefon ist dieses Haus sehr höflich und entgegenkommend.
Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten entzückend. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank - Tigermama!

Sympatisches Hotel

Das Hotel befindet sich am Stadtrand von Schwetzingen in ruhiger Lage, die Innenstadt ist aber in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Es wurd in den zurückliegenden Jahren renoviert. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und zum Teil mit kleiner Küchenzeile. Ein Kühlschraank ist auch vorhanden. Alles ist sehr sauber. Und es befindet sich auch eine Bar in dem Haus und ein Biergarten. Hier finden gelgentlich Tanzveranstaltungen statt. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, man fühlt sich aufgenommen wie in einer Familie. Jederzeit würden wir das Hotel wieder besuchen.
