Good hotel at a fair price.

We had a spacious double room on the ground floor. The room had a small terrace that was equipped with a table and two chairs. Seat pads were also available. Since there is no permanently staffed reception, the key can be removed from the key box by means of a code. On the day of our arrival we received a Whatsapp message with the code for the key box at 11 am. So we could move into the room very early. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not offered, but around the corner is a REWE with a bakery where there is coffee, sandwiches and sweet bits. The train station is just a few minutes walk away. Basel Badischer Bahnhof station is two stops away. On my next visit to Basel I will definitely stay there again.

Reasonably Comfortable Accommodation.

Family run hotel. Spacious rooms. Clean. Friendly owners and staff. Modest but sufficient breakfast (not included in the price of the room).
This hotel could be recommended to the travellers who are exploring the neighbouring regions of Switzerland, France and Germany with a car. Relatively easy access to Basel: there is a train once every hour and bus – twice every hour (though only until 20:00). Train station and bus stops (there are two) are very close to the hotel. Freiburg (Germany), Colmar (France), Rhein waterfalls (Switzerland) are at the distance of one hour driving time from the hotel.
Excellent supermarket “REWE”, which is in the next building, is open until 22:00 on Monday-Saturday.
There is quite popular among the local population Greek restaurant in the hotel “Axion”, which at 5 minutes walking distance.

Dim lighting in rooms
Very low WiFi signal. At least in the room 38 at the second floor.

Niet meest sexy. Wel solide!

Tussenstop vanuit Italië naar Nederland.
Goede uitgeruste kamers.
Ruim. Goed sanitair.
Lekkere bedden, helemaal na diverse nachten op Italiaanse bedden.
Huisdier vriendelijk.
Genoeg eet gelegenheden om de hoek.
Supermarkt letterlijk als buur.
