Great hotel in Caputh with excellent breakfast and Service!
We had booked two nights at this hotel on the occasion of a family celebration. The rooms were very neat, clean and fully met the designated standard. Breakfast is particularly recommended. We had asked if some guests of our party, which took place later in the evening in the hotel restaurant, could have breakfast with us there for a fee. This was made possible for us and we could even sit together on a long table on the terrace, on a very warm summer day. Breakfast was served at the table, with everything your heart desires - egg dishes, cold cuts, cheese, smoked salmon, fruit salad, yogurt, salads, small cakes ... all freshly prepared! And we could reorder at any time. Even a table fountain was lit! A great Service that is highly recommended! I would also like to mention the always nice and friendly staff. Anyone who wants to stay in Caputh should definitely do so there! We will definitely come back.

Unfriendly owner, lousy standard
For our wedding, we booked three rooms, including an apartment with a kitchen for five nights.
Unfortunately, we had to realize that the kitchenette advertised as a kitchen was not functional. The sink shown in the photos had no water connection whatsoever and therefore could not be used. Upon our complaint, it was explained to us that we could wash the dishes in the bathroom sink instead. So much for the aspired "standard" of this establishment.
Unfortunately, this impression continued throughout the entire stay. Even beforehand, I found Ms. Lucas to be extremely unfriendly. The rooms convey the charm of the 2000s.
However, the way our justified complaint was handled was particularly disappointing. Initially, we were promised that we would be contacted again after our request had been reviewed. Instead, we received an email that barely addressed the actual defect. Instead, Ms. Lucas wrote, among other things, verbatim:
"That you take this as an occasion for being unreasonable ... seems obviously to be due to your generation."
Furthermore, we were essentially accused of a lack of gratitude.
If we had been informed before booking that the sink shown in the pictures was not connected at all, we could have made our booking decision accordingly. According to general understanding, amenities advertised as a "kitchen" should also include a functional sink with a water connection.
The condition of the apartment was disappointing. However, the handling of a factually presented complaint was even more disappointing. In my personal experience, Ms. Lucas lacks the respectful and professional manner that I would expect toward guests. I consider such communication with customers to be inappropriate. For these reasons, I cannot recommend the Apart Hotel.

HOTEL OF FAMILY NOT FOR FAMILIES
the hotel of FAMILY Lucas is NOT a place for families.
Our request as a small family was rejected with the reference that we travel with children.

Not again
The reception was barely staffed and the lady at the reception (boss?) responded to our questions quite snappy.
The cheaper rooms are getting old and worn out.
The heating was centrally regulated and throttled down during the day. Shouldn't you be able to decide independently about your comfort temperature???
The TV lacks the public service programs.
The breakfast was good and the hardworking staff very hard.
4 stars are definitely not justified for this house.
Very commendable is the adjacent restaurant "The Twins" with its attentive and very diligent staff.
The food in the restaurant was very good!
The cheaper rooms are getting old and worn out.

Conclusion: Unhygienic. Old. Unfriendly. Antisocial behaviour of Mrs Uta Lucas.
The owner and operator, Mrs. Uta Lucas, showed unacceptable and antisocial behavior towards us. Children were yelled at loudly by her just for walking through the aisle. Such an appearance towards guests is absolutely inappropriate.
The hotel is in a poor condition overall. The elevator was without function. The rooms were very poorly cleaned, there were clear urine stains and the rooms were obviously not properly cleaned. Cleanliness was inadequate overall.
Breakfast was sparse. The buffet was counted and nothing was added. You always had the feeling that everything was controlled. In addition, cash payment was explicitly insisted upon.
For the condition and service the rooms are absolutely overpriced.
