Great location and affordable price
The strong point of this establishment is the excellent quality/price ratio.
The hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Both the rooms and the common areas are very clean and well-maintained. The descriptions and photos on the website are complete and perfectly reflect reality. There is a functioning Wi-Fi connection throughout the establishment.
You can pay for breakfast day by day only if you decide to use the service. There is a free dispenser available all day to refill water bottles, and in the afternoon, you can also get tea and coffee for free.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious and equipped with everything necessary.
The reception staff is friendly and always available, ready to warmly welcome guests and committed to meeting their every request. We arrived in the morning, and they did everything possible to offer us an early check-in at no extra charge.
A note of merit not only to the reception staff but also to the cleaning personnel, who ensure that rooms and common areas are always very clean, tidy, and functional.
Given the positive experience, if I were to return to Berlin, I would not hesitate to stay with them again.

Old, loud, bright without blinds
I found the clairvoyance of the rooms particularly bad. You can really hear everything: Conversations from the hallway, the opening and closing of other room doors, steps from above, flushing toilets – even the coughing of the roommates is clearly perceptible. There can be no talk of rest or restful sleep. I was hoping to find some peace at least at night, but due to the noisy surroundings that was hardly possible.
Another big problem: The rooms are extremely bright as there are no blinds or even reasonable curtains. If you are sensitive to light or simply like to sleep in, you will have no joy here. The daylight pops into the room from early in the morning – and the street noise from the surrounding bars wakes you up early anyway.
The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. In my room, the corners were dusty, the bathroom had limescale residue and the linen did not smell fresh. For a hotel that charges this price, I think that is totally unacceptable.
The only positive thing about this stay was the location: The area is really lively and offers many bars, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. So if you travel a lot and are just looking for a place to sleep, you may be able to arrange with the hotel – everyone else should book something else.
Conclusion: I can't recommend this place at all. It's old, loud, bright and dirty. Definitely a once in a lifetime stay for me.

Room was very small, floor without carpet, the TV channels were chaotically arranged. I couldn't get ARD/ZDF in. TV screen was very small.
Otherwise very clean, breakfast was good.
