A perfect stay

It has been a very pleasant stay. The site is idyllic, inserted in a spectacular natural setting. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a bungalow with lovely and clean water and electricity service. At the door of the campsite there is a bar where you can have a drink and breakfast. Very good product, jam was made at home. The municipal swimming pool is located next to the campsite and campers can access the facilities for free. It has been a discovery and if we return to the area we will repeat without hesitation.

1 night before the departure of the Maraithon

Warm welcome, relaxing campsite, clean sanitary facilities, smiling and attentive staff.
Very nice experience I recommend this campsite with a beautiful place for canoeing, walking, cycling…
We stayed there for the night before the half marathon

One night at L’Ilôt du Chail

I pitched my tent for one night on a grassy and shady spot; the place is peaceful and ideally located, a stone's throw from the adorable village of La Garette and in the heart of the marshes of La Venise verte; the toilets are very well maintained, the welcome is pleasant; site suitable for all audiences... on the “Francette bike” route;

its ok but nothing to wow about

Our late arrival 20.00h didn't help that most of the amenities were closed ie. bar shop etc ... camping was good but the grass was long and the whole experience felt like the place was not as sharp as it could have been.

Camp Ilot Du Chail

Low level site. Toilets no chain and dirty. Full of twin axle caravans and white vans and obviously a community had taken residence. Paid but didn’t stay. It was a shame as it could be a good campsite if more care taken to the facility’s.

Bonjour Lesley,
Nous sommes désolés mais les caravanes double essieux ne sont pas restés et n'ont embêté personne.
Pour les sanitaires, le nettoyage est fait 3 fois par jour. Quand il y a beaucoup de monde, forcément, les sanitaires sont plus vite endommagés.
Navré que ce séjour ne vous ait pas plus.
