Real happiness
A good welcome, a place in peace, a room and spacious bathroom (room emilia) a nice pool, an exceptional cooker! (table hosts and ptd!) local products, homemade (delicious brioche...)
Excellent advice from Didier for hiking and curiosities, not to mention restaurants, kindness and attention from Marina.
A house full of charm, beautiful view, a space provided if you want to prepare a snack in the evening or other...
Good to know, the cleaning of the room is not insured, but this is only a detail for our stay.

An enchantment
Beautiful béarnaise farmhouse superbly restored and tastefully decorated, in a green setting near Oloron Ste Marie, large hillside pool with views of the Pyrenees. And above all, we were delighted by the welcome and attentions of Marina and Didier. Breakfasts were delicious, always decorated with jams and pastries prepared by Marina. We also had a refined evening meal. Didier gave us excellent advice for walks. It is with regret that we left Marina and Didier after five enchanting days in their haven of peace.

Wonderful Gites. Full stop.
Maison d’Orride was a positive surprise in many ways. Never visited the region before so we had to wait and see. The Gites, run by Marine and Didier, is located in the pre-Pyrenees, so hilly, but not mountainious. The family house of Marine, beautiful old stone built farmhouse buildings, with a cosy cour and a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees hills and mountains. The reception by Didier and Marine was very warm and friendly. The rooms are very nicely renovated (the Gites is 3 years old), spacious and clean. There is a gym, although the machinery is somewhat dated, and a lovely pool with incredible view of the mountains. Didier was very helpful in selecting a mountain bike route and later a hike in the Pyrenees. Once every 2 days Marine cooks dinner which I strongly advise travelers to take. Tables set in the Cour, no less than one of the better restaurants, as is the food. They have a list of several restaurant in the area they recommend. A special thanks to the house dog Leon, you don’t find them more friendly and relaxed :)
We only stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed a week. I strongly recommend this Gites.

exceptionnel !
