Max' Golf ja Zoo du bassin d'Arcachon (eläintarha) ovat myös vierailun arvoisia. Tutustu alueen vesiaktiviteetteihin, joihin kuuluu purjelautailu ja kalastus, tai ulkoilma-aktiviteetteihin, joihin kuuluu hevosratsastus ja vaellus-/pyöräilyreitit. Nous regrettons en revanche que le petit-déjeuner n'ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Votre retour a retenu toute notre attention et nous vous prions de nous excuser pour le réassort incomplet constaté lors de votre séjour. Establishment to AVOID.
Reservation made 3 days before the request to postpone, knowing that the government is asking people not to go to Gironde. Boat trips on the basin are also prohibited. What a lack of solidarity! Establishment to avoid!!!

Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre expérience vous ait laissé ce sentiment.
Nous souhaitons toutefois apporter quelques précisions sur le contexte exceptionnel de cette période. Si les incendies qui ont touché la Gironde ont naturellement suscité une vive inquiétude, le sud du Bassin d'Arcachon, où se situe La Guitoune, a heureusement été épargné et la vie y suivait son cours normalement. Notre établissement est resté ouvert et accueillait ses hôtes dans des conditions habituelles.
Dans les premiers jours, alors qu'aucune restriction officielle de circulation n'était en vigueur, notre région a malheureusement fait face à un très grand nombre d'annulations. Dès lors que les autorités ont demandé la fermeture de la route principale d'accès au Bassin et que des restrictions gouvernementales ont effectivement empêché les déplacements, la direction a naturellement accepté les demandes de report des séjours concernés.
Nous comprenons que cette situation ait pu être source de déception et de frustration, et nous regrettons sincèrement que nos échanges n'aient pas répondu à vos attentes. Nous espérons que ces précisions permettront de mieux comprendre les circonstances exceptionnelles auxquelles nous étions tous confrontés.

A Bar With Rooms - Not A Hotel
The good bits:
- well located to visit the dunes
- bikes to hire
- good shower and roomy and comfortable bed
The bad bits:
- no hotel service - we were given the key and that was it no information at all
- we had two rooms next to eachother rooms were dark and on ground floor so if we opened the nets everyone from the car park could see us. It also made it difficult to use the very small balcony
- the hotel rents out the restaurant and car parkto other people / business for events so on two days the whole restaurant was closed and one evening there was a huge party right outside our bedroom windows which went on from 5pm to 3am, despite the management telling us it would stop at 12. It started with local music and tapas and turned into hard banging rave music from 12 to 3 with people shouting and laughing. We got no sleep. We complained to the management who said ‘did you not get the email?’ Which they sent two days before our arrival letting us know of a music night and inviting us for a drink. What could we do two days before our arrival? Change our holiday? And it was heavily down played - it was not a music night it was a rave night
- breakfast was expensive and poor
This hotel is not cheap but they rent out the facilities to other people at the expense of their hotel guests - to maximise profit.
There is no way in a million years we would return
Ps bring lots of bug spray my two teenaged children and myself got about 20 insect bites in two days. We aren’t sure if this was bed bugs

While we’re pleased you enjoyed our location, the quality of the bedding, and the convenience of our bike rentals, we regret that several aspects of your stay were disappointing.
Our hotel does have a unique personality, blending the spirit of a lively venue with the comfort of a boutique stay — but we understand that this may not match what every guest is looking for. Regarding the event during your visit, we did send a prior notification and invitation, but we completely understand your frustration with the noise level, especially when it extended later than expected. This was an exception rather than the norm, and we take full responsibility for any miscommunication or inconvenience caused.
Concerning the rooms and lack of welcome information, this does not reflect the standard of service we aim to offer, and your comments have already been shared with our team for immediate follow-up. We also take note of your feedback on breakfast and the presence of insects — while we regularly treat the premises, we will look into this carefully to rule out any issue and reinforce our preventive measures.
We truly regret that this experience led to such disappointment, especially as we strive to create a relaxed yet welcoming environment for all our guests. Even if you’ve decided not to return, please know that your comments are being taken seriously and will contribute to the improvement of our service and guest communication.
