Pleasant and efficient

Booking by phone very nice. Halfway through our visit to the exhibitions in Chaumont sur Loire from Brittany. Welcoming staff. Pleasant room on the ground floor with private parking in front of the room and access to the pool and garden through the back terrace. Room and bathroom very clean. Simple dinner. Quick Service. Good soundproofing. Very good night.

Avoid!!

Stayed for a night to get some rest and food for a long drive to southern Spain. I didn't notice that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday. There was no mention that the bar would also be closed and that the hotel would be completely unstaffed! This place is miles from anywhere, we had a 40km round trip to the nearest supermarket in Nantes to get some food and drink. The room was awful, the curtains were far too small for the windows so anyone could see in and there was no way to keep any light out in the morning. Despite it being effectively self catering, there were only paper cups and no fridge, Breakfast was edible but the bananas were way past their best and pretty much every tiny plate was chipped. The grass wasn't cut and it was generally in need of some TLC. I would avoid this place at all costs. I don't even know how it's classed as a hotel with no reception, bar or staff! I paid 107€ for the stay.

It's a lovely 3star hotel with no frills but a very good restaurant.
Check-in was quick and to the point. We had dinner on the first night and it was very good.
The swimming pool was clean and open till 21:00. Plenty of loungers and chairs to relax on.
Rooms are basic but spotless. Good strong shower and the room was perfectly cleaned each day. Bravo to house keeping.
Breakfast was adequate and self service.
Overall a solid 8/10

Bad experience

This establishment must have been well but here , the service is no longer up to the rates charged. Smell of sewer in the hotel corridors, problem flowing to the shower, hair in the bedding, catastrophic breakfast.. not to mention the problems encountered in addition .. I do not recommend this establishment.

The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodation was just as described.
