Beautiful and quiet place
We finished our Peru vacation by spending three nights at the Amazon Oasis Lodge. We loved the peace and serenity of the location. We didn't book a lot of tours because we wanted to just rest before heading home. Because you are "stranded" once you get here, bringing your own beer, wine or snacks would be a good idea. I loved the family cooked meals. The fried rice dish was amazing! I loved Ceasar and his family. They are beautiful people that are kind and generous.

Just great Losge
Absolutely great lodge!! Caesar and his team are very friendly and very helpful!! Very clean bungalows and very good food. WiFi is available. Special requests are no problem, especially excursions. Flexible meal times

Alright
Around €100 per night (not cheap at all!) with breakfast. and the only hotel during our stay to add 4% to the total amount if paid by credit card. Lodge located on a tributary of the Amazon. Transfer included depending on the number of nights: 30 minutes by sporty Tuk Tuk from the airport then 10 minutes by boat from the main bridge out of town. A set of 4 floating bungalows (When the water level allows, otherwise it's on the sand) adjoining a small central building which serves as a reception. Note: The 2 bungalows to favor are those at the 2 ends, with a preference for number 4 (Setting sun side) otherwise you will necessarily have passage on your pontoon.. After the ecstasy of arrival, know that there is no There's not much to do here and you quickly feel trapped in your makeshift raft. If you have a book to finish, this is the perfect place! The 2 interesting outings: Visit to the animal care center and a tribe of natives 2 minutes away by boat (10 USD per person, touristy as hell but hey..) 2 nights here are more than enough. Included in the hotel rate: Canoeing and approach to pink dolphins on the Amazon (We went, waited but saw nothing..) Expensive meals compared to the rest of the country: 40 soles minimum for a main course, 10 soles for a beer, 5 soda (only Corona beer) and it's complicated to eat elsewhere in the evening! Free chilled water in a bottle. Namely: Wifi ok for the first 2 days then flop.. The big drawback: No fan here (Stuffing, humidity guaranteed) Frequent noises from motorboats (We are on a tourist tributary, relative daytime tranquility) For the rest, at night we are in total communion with nature! No glass (but plastic mesh for critters) Curtains preserving privacy. Individual shaded terrace, armchairs, hammock. Minimalist bathroom. Electrical outlets ok. Good cleanliness. Dim but sufficient lights inside. Decent breakfast. It’s still a change from the daily cocoon and ultimately it doesn’t do any harm! Overall in hindsight, a good stay in the middle of nature, especially since the family who runs this place is charming and really takes care of you. A significant budget to plan for anyway...

Amazon stay
Lovely small guest house on a small area of the Amazon. Run by a family with 4 chalet style rooms.
Wooden floating chalets with spacious bedroom and very basic bathroom with shower.
Food freshley cooked but very limited menu. What ever you order it is nearly all the same. Breakfast cooked eggs/ omelette and bread.
Lunch /dinner battered fish/chicken or grilled.
Very limited ranges of drinks. Beer, coke or water.
We stayed 2 nights and felt that was enough to experience the sights and sounds of this area .
Nice decking area out the front of the rooms where you can sit and watch the boats go by and the birds.
Not much to do otherwise as cant walk anywhere. Did go by boat to a few animal "rescue" centres but they are not and animals kept in small cages. Especially the Aquarium opposite which is laid out in the woods on stands.Tanks far too small and very little water in them for the fish and eels.
Overall a good stay with the family there being helpful and friendly.
Would recommend if you just wanted to chill and relax only.
