Good value, rooms have a balcony for drying dive gear

We stayed for 3 nights. Booked 7 rooms total.
The rooms are good and spacious. We chose this place specifically because of the balcony. We were there for Cenote diving and needed a place to dry all our gear before moving. Na’ala was perfect for that.
Everyone working the night shift at the reception is very slow. We landed and check in around mid-night and it took a very long time to sort everything out (prepaid rooms). We made sure to check out the night before because we didn’t want any delays for our flight.
The lobby is warm and welcoming and used as a hangout spot for a lot of the younger crowds. It can get quite loud down there but the noise didn’t carry to my room.
Breakfast. If you have early mornings like us, I would recommend skipping the breakfast at the rooftop. It is below average. Only take it if you really need eggs in the morning. Otherwise, there is a mini mart close by; yogurt, fresh fruits, cereal, bread, more than enough to make a quick breakfast. There’s also a Starbucks 2 mins drive away.
There was very little hot water on the first day, so for the rest of my stay I showered much earlier than usual and there was plenty of hot water then.
I brought my own disposable slippers and that enhanced my experience. The bedroom floor isn’t smooth. The walls are also a little thin. You can hear the wake up alarm from the rooms next door and above.
The location is quiet. Peaceful. It is walking distance to an open space area with more food and stores. And a couple of minutes drive to other exciting areas in Tulum.
At this price point and with a balcony, I booked one room for myself. I would recommend.

I stayed here with my kids. We loved the room, the hotel, the area. Staff was very nice and helpful. My only suggestion would be to have a microwave and coffee maker. The hotel restaurant was closed. Nowhere to heat up our leftovers. Otherwise, the place was excellent.

The rooftop pool, helpfull staff, and Clean airconditioned room were among great things in this hotel.

Love Naala me and my bestfriend stayed here for Mother’s Day staff was very nice and made us feel welcome and safe

Good to know at Naala Tulum

We love this hotel!! And stay here all the time when in Tulum. The rooms are always very clean and nice. We always pay for breakfast included. PLEASE NOTE if you stay here--sadly-they do not tell you if you order anything at all off the menu you pay full price for the item!! We had paid for breakfast with our room-my sister ordered off the breakfast menu--at the end of eating she was asked to pay full price for ordering off the menu. No one told us that if you ordered off the menu you pay Full price for the item--no discount even for the money you had paid. Naala and the restaurant need to straighten this out. We stayef 4 days and even did a business breakfadt whete we
did pay all the charges and tipped well, The restaurant needs to tell guests up front if you order anything off the menu you pay full price.
