Okay for one night
The staff at the restaurant was excellent, the food was okay with limited vegetarian options.
Not great value but okay.

Good value for money Close to many Safari parks as a working stay great. Would not stay for holidays.
Breakfast was reasonable but not exceptional. Ate in the restaurant a few nights and had some very good meals. There was a pool and spa because of work I didn't use them. Room was standard no smoke alarms however being a regular visitor to Kenya this is common so I used my travel smoke alarm.

Please allow us to clarify that your stay was booked through a third-party tour company, and we understand there may have been a mismatch between the room type you expected and the one allocated. We truly wish this had been brought to our attention during your stay, as we would have immediately investigated your concerns and offered you an alternative room to ensure your comfort.
Kongoni Camp is nestled within a forested glade on the slopes of Mt. Kenya, offering a peaceful retreat in a natural environment. While we make every effort to ensure our rooms are thoroughly cleaned and treated regularly, the presence of occasional harmless insects such as ants can occur, particularly during certain seasons. That said, the level of discomfort you described is certainly not what we strive for, and we take your comments seriously.
Our team—while youthful—is dedicated, caring, and always eager to assist. We continuously train them to deliver professional service and to be responsive to guest concerns. Had we known of your dissatisfaction at the time, we would have done everything possible to address it immediately.
Your experience has been noted, and we will be reviewing your feedback with our housekeeping and front office teams to ensure any lapses are swiftly corrected.

Shocking
Bathrooms with damp and mold
Ants/midges on beds and in rooms.
Awful.
The only saving grace was the amazing massage that was in the spa but this is separate from the hotel although on same site.
Would not recommend to anyone.

We understand that your booking was made through an agent, and you were assigned a standard room as per the reservation. We regret that the room did not meet your expectations and that this caused frustration from the outset. While we do offer a variety of room categories to suit different preferences, we acknowledge that we could have done more to address your concerns during your stay.
Regarding the issues you raised about cleanliness, damp, and pests, please rest assured that we take these matters very seriously. Our housekeeping and maintenance teams have been alerted to investigate and rectify these issues immediately to ensure they do not recur. This is not reflective of our usual standards, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused.
On a positive note, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the massage at our spa. While the spa operates independently, we are proud to have such a facility on-site for our guests’ enjoyment.
