Very fine accommodation with spectacular views

Pension Speckmoser in Bad Mitterndorf in the Styrian Salzkammergut of Austria is located in a delightful village surrounded by mountains with plentiful options for the hiker in summer and the skier in winter. Pension Speckmoser is located in Zauchen only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Bad Mitterndorf. All of the rooms have spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and are well appointed with everything you need to make your stay a pleasant one: en suite bathrooms, large comfortable beds, plenty of cupboard space, TV, etc. The rooms are tidied up every day and clean towels, etc provided when necessary. The breakfasts are fantastic with a huge choice of cereals, juices, eggs, bread, salamis and cheese, honey and jams, teas and coffee. Most importantly Herr Speckmoser is an excellent host who provides information about events occurring in the surrounding area and will help with any queries from his guests. On request he will collect you and your luggage from the nearest railway station (Bad Mitterndorf) and deliver you there when departing. The costs of staying are very reasonable and competitive with the surrounding hostelries and hotels. Would highly recommend.

Incorrect owner

Incorrect owner. I asked for an offer, which he sent. He replied to my reservation the next morning that he had given the room to someone else in the meantime (!).

Weekend stay

A really cozy guesthouse, nice rooms, everything clean, good breakfast, really friendly hosts, price-performance ratio is absolutely fine, what more could you want? We felt really comfortable and at home and would love to come back.

This is the most cozy and warm home with a wonderful Austrian atmosphere!

A great place to stay and have a wonderful time!
Here you are welcome and you feel like visiting a family!
Beautiful room, very spacious and comfortable, we had a good sleep!
And in the morning there is a completely rich breakfast in the atmosphere of Austrian culture, with professional service. Very tasty and you are ready for a new day! Albert was kindly offered us bicycles to get to the station, it was a good experience and the fresh wind cheered us up!
We visited Hallstatt, it was necessary to drive through several stations - this is a magnificent old life filled with mystery and tranquility! You should see this! Returning to our home, cozy and so benevolent.
We really liked Albert and his amazing mom! These are people of big heart! Albert, Thank you for sharing with us a coupon to take a lift to Obertown, which was great for a pleasant savings.
We will gladly come back here again! Highly recommend this place!

Utazás

A tulaj nagyon segítőkész és kedves, csendes környék és családias hangulatú. A felső emeleti szobában szálltunk meg ahol a kilátás az erkélyről hegyre néző, gyönyörű volt! A reggeli nagyon finom és bőséges, friss pékáru, isteni sajtok és felvágottak stb. Csak ajánlani tudom pároknak és családosoknak is!
