A hotel TRULY by the sea

A hotel truly overlooking the sea, with balconies that are wonderful. Clean and functional rooms, attentive and very kind staff. We will return as soon as possible.

The sweetest staff!! We quickly booked this hotel after flight issues that had us stuck in Rome for 2 days, and not able to afford last-minute Rome stays during high season, we headed to the coast. It was honestly the best accidental stay I could have ever asked for. Like everywhere in Anzio, the hotel itself is very dated, but it's CLEAN and comfortable. Very close to the train station and a fantastic seafood restaurant, plus a great view of the water and overall so peaceful. You can hear neighbors fairly easily with chairs scraping the floor above and doors closing in the hallway, but I imagine that's the norm with the old buildings and we weren't too bothered. Breakfast was lovely with a staff member taking orders for coffee and tea and offering a very wide spread of sweet and savory items. I was impressed!

Here the price/performance ratio is not right at all. Cannot track users' current ratings.

The friendly reception at the reception can not stick a plaster over the negative.
Cons:
- weaned off rooms get
- Bathroom should be urgently renovated
- Room door damaged
- Beach location, well this beach is on the scale of 1-10 only 2 to 3
- Pool messy, not clean, lying dirty plaster on the walls falls off
- Attention: we would be sold the room at the same price as Booking.com. After complaint -10€ received, you can try it sometimes
- for the money used we lived 10 times better in Tuscany
Pros: Parking at the house
I would never book the hotel again
Too bad the owner and Dax staff actually made a nice impression
