Lovely property however needs maintenance to bring it back to its original glamour
The room/suite rates are also on the high side for what you get/location. The owner/management need to seriously look at the rates, the condition of the property, what is offered for the price etc and reconsider the tariff. If this is not done I am afraid good, high end customers will look elsewhere for accommodation for their holiday; which is a shame.

Best stay in India!
I was with 2 other friends, and we had the 2nd floor apartment to ourselves, which was lovely as it gave us plenty of space and privacy. We had a friend's wedding, so this was perfect for preparations the day of as well.
We booked our stay through the recommendation of our travel agent, who was able to get us a good deal.
The apartment was well maintained and comfortable, with AC in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms with plenty of hot water. The apartment also includes a living room, full kitchen, and a dining area, where we were able to get our meals served, which was lovely. There were also plenty of windows, a balcony, and sunny alcoves.
They delivered breakfast every morning upon request, and our meals were very good and exactly what we needed to get a good start to our day. We also had lunch, and ordered some of their Chinese dishes as they have a Chinese cook in house.
The staff at Itis was extremely helpful, friendly, accommodating, and courteous. They allowed us to check in early after we came in that morning from a long overnight train ride from Kerala. After the train ride all we wanted was a good meal, a shower, and place to rest. They pulled their team together to get the apartment ready for us early very quickly, which we deeply appreciated. They also generously served us a late breakfast.
ITIS Suites is located on a quiet road in Cooke Town. We were able to walk there from the train station (just a 15 minute walk!) and found it easily. We were also able to easily flag down a rickshaw to take us into the commercial parts of the city during our visit. The drivers in the area were all willing to use their meters, which allowed us to get a fair rate. On our last day there, the staff helped us to arrange for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport.
Finally, we want to give a special thanks to the Manager, Gayathri. When we first checked in she gave us her business card and told us we could contact her with any questions or requests--and she was true to her word! We purchased sarees for our friend's wedding, but needed help putting them on correctly. Gayathri came to our suite and helped us beautifully and expertly pleat our sarees. We looked great and received so many compliments at the wedding!
Thank you again to all the staff at ITIS for going above and beyond and allowing us to have such a wonderful stay!
