Fabulous!

Another trip to the Sunborn did not disappoint. This time bought some friends who hadn’t been before & they loved it. The location, hotel, staff are all excellent, definitely recommend

The place is OK but the vibe is kind of strange. It's pretentious but does not provide basic essentials such as USB chargers near the bed.
It is very clean and well maintained but not modern. WiFi is terrible. The staff is somewhat friendly but gives you a feel that you don't belong here.
Good place to stay for one night if you really want to stay in Gibraltar.

I booked a two bedroom suite at a 5 star hotel. What could go wrong? Well, we nicknamed out room 'the dungeon'. Most rooms had balconies. We were on the bottom floor of the hotel at the very front. We not only didn't have a balcony, we barely had windows. It was a very dark room. We overlooked industrial equipment at the back of a marina. We had two refrigerators, one of which worked. There is no door on the master bath. There was a clear glass door with a few frosted pieces across the toilet area. Stepping out of the shower, you were fully exposed.
We requested Cava when we arrived. It showed up three hours later. We went to the desk and asked for ice. That arrived an hour and a half later as we were leaving. The first two times we tried to charge to our room, they showed us that it said the room was unoccupied. The pool is the basically an 8' X 12' above ground pool. We never got a deck chair. The space is small and there are maybe 18 chairs. Nacho the bartender was the saving grace of the area. The breakfast was very nice. The food was fresh.
Think twice before going here. There are a lot of great properties there.

Room was spotless and cleaned everyday. The staff were always on hand to help and the aqua was fantastic! A perfect stay and highly recommended
