Clean, cosy, comfortable and convenient
Checked in was fast and easy. The lady had already waited for us at the apartment to hand over the apartment keys. She provided all the necessary information about places to visit and things to do in Granada. The apartment was easy to reach. We took a taxi and it dropped us right in front of the apartment. It is a small, clean and cozy apartment. There are many souvenir shops nearby. Many halal restaurants are available around the area. It is also close to the taxi stand. The gate to the AlHambra garden is just about 200 meters from the apartment. You can see the gate from the apartment. We really enjoy our stay in the apartment since it is close to many things like souvenir shops, restaurants, taxi stand, hop on hop off train. It’s value for money and we will surely stay here again if we were to come back to Granada.

Very central. Don't stay only one night.
We stayed at the Apartamentos Gomerez 39 for one night. The location is very, very central. Close to Plaza Nueva, Albayzin, the major shopping streets and, of course, only 10 minutes by foot to the entry gates of Alhambra. It is difficult to get there by car, as you are forced to (illegally?) enter restricted areas but it's still better that parking somewhere and carrying your luggage up the rather steep alley. We were welcomed by the landlord and got a tour of the place, a map, many very useful instructions and advice about our visit to the Alhambra. The house itself has been refurbished very nicely, is clean and pleasant. We booked the two-bedroom-apartment and enjoyed it. A very large lounge room with a well-equipped kitchen and upstairs a bedroom with a lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the roofs of the old town. Two bathrooms, each with a toilet and a shower. As we only stayed for one night, it was hardly worth it, getting installed. The parking is complicated and not that close and the steps inside the apartment are very steep and you don't want to carry the luggage down again the next day. It's a perfect place for a longer stay.

Amazing place!
Lovely apartments in an newly reformatted house. The attic has a great balcony looking at the gate of the Alhambra, the street is full of beautiful shops and cafes, walking distance to all symbolic places in Granada, Eric help me with all information of the city and took me all the way to the parking garage. Great stay!

Excellent location and great value
First of all, getting to this location is a big challenge. Even if you are a seasoned driver, please try to avoid driving in Granada if possible. The GPS will take you in circles if you try to set the location to Cuesta De Gomerez. The road itself is not opened to public vehicles. The streets are narrow and there are no parking spaces available. Most of the roads have barriers and this apartment is located in a restricted zone.
The apartment owner was kind enough to send us someone to bring us into the zone so that we could unload the luggage. We were then led to a carpark about 500m away from the apartment to park the car at a secure location at about 16 euros a day (they will give a discount card).
The plus points are that the studio apartment was spacious enough with sufficient amenities including cooker hoods and hob, kitchen and dining utensils, heaters, a microwave, refridgerator, satellite tv, free wifi (a big plus in spain!) washing machine with dryer (another big plus!).
The bed was comfortable enough but there is annoying knocking sounds from the floor above.
The apartment is located at cuesta gomerez, a small lane which is not open to cars and home to many students and trinket shops. At the end of the road, you will find plaza nueva which is home to many restaurants, cafes and pubs which is most convenient. There are buses and taxis located at the area too.
Overall, for the price of 50 euros a day, this apartment is definitely value for money!

Granada mágica
Fin de semana en familia en el Albaizin Bajo,todo perfecto.Desde la reserva nos indicaban un teléfono y a través de Carlos de la Pensión Venecia Gomérez todo genial.Aparcamiento,reservas para visitar la Alhambra y un apartamento súpercoqueto en la Placeta de San Gregorio.Volveremos seguro!
