Great place to stay!

Super friendly staff, clean, nice location, great food (ate breakfast and dinner here every day for a week), and particularly recommend the dessert. I cannot emphasize enough how nice everyone working here was--so helpful when I did stupid things like lock the room key in the room. I do wish they would give more than one key per room, but it worked out with their system of leaving a key at the front desk.

Stuck in the 80's

The place is not too bad, but it has a lot of details that makes it a poor hotel.
The isolation is really bad, you can literally hear everything that is going on in the toilet, one of the sink's handles didn't work, the shower was really old, etc.
Breakfast is included, but it is an 80's hostel breakfast. The bread was cold and you couldn't toast it, cheap juice, a single slice of ham and one of cheese, etc.
It is cheap, but not good.

Not a 3 stars hotel...

Pros:
- Friendly staff
- Located right in downtown Temuco
- Hot shower
- Cable TV and WiFi
- Comfy bed
Cons:
- Dated rooms (small rooms- including old carpet, old curtains)
- Yelowwish bedsheets
- Old towels
- Horrible breakfast (not buffet, no fruits, no cereals- just white bread, jam, butter, coffee)
- Fresh Paint Smell in my floor ( 4th floor- which made me sick during my stay)
- Noisy downtown area

Hotel Nicolas

Clean accommodation centrally located. Inexpensive ($53USD- for one) and very close to large market building and bus station. Taxi driver consulted dispatcher when I asked for recommendation. Restaurant closed early but menu seemed extensive. Bar was open later hours.
