Clean and modern with everything you need.

Clean and modern units, big enough for a family with children. They contained everything you needed and were walking distance from the beautiful town. The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a few drinks in the bar after dinner.
A continental breakfast was provided in our room the following morning and it was excellent with something for everybody. Would definitely recommend

Very poor food.

We visited the Hibernian Hotel with a family group for dinner. Staff were fabulous, atmosphere was pleasant but the food was terrible. Ordered the barramundi and vegies off the specials board. Vegies were bland and consisted of big stemmy chunks of cauliflower broccoli and carrot. mash potato was acceptable but barely. The fish was terrible. So overcooked the flesh was dry, and crumbly. The skin, not crispy but as tough as leather. I ate half and left the rest. Can I suggest if you are going to offer fish you learn how to cook it properly. Wasted my money, left early and went home. We are locals live in town and to be blunt, I expected far better than this pretty poor meal. In a town with numerous dinner choices I will not be eating here again.

Great hotel with friendly service

Absolutely great hotel with amazing service. The place was clean and secure. Great that you can have a meal at the pub and we enjoyed a chat up with friends over a game of pool. It was so close to everything, we walked to most places. Thanks so much for a great stay.

Friendly service at Hibernian Hotel.

I rode from Yackandandah to Beechworth yesterday, towing my dog George in his trailer. I used up a bit to much battery and needed to to up. Called in to the Hibernian Hotel and had a meal. I asked the manager if it would be ok to top up my battery. Nothing was a problem. He locked my bike in the storeroom and I was able to have a wonderful lunch and glass of wine knowing I'd make it back to Yackandandah. Thanks Hibernian Hotel

Basic Motel Well Located

The Hibernian Hotel had an excellent location right in the town which was a positive. The room was a fairly standard country motel room, clean and had all that was needed, the Wi Fi worked well, the staff friendly and sleep quality was fine. If you are looking for basic good accommodation with a good location, this place fits the bill.
