New style Owl forest

For the first time a stay in the Owl Forest new style . And can say we enjoyed it. Beautifully renovated 3 person room, equipped with all comforts. A super delicious breakfast. Friendly staff, friendly staff. Have already booked our next stay in March 2027.
And a nicely located central place to make trips.

Had slightly too high expectations

Location perfect, annex not comparable to the main house. Noisy, old and damaged furniture, mattresses that are sagging like you are in a rocking boat. the pictures on the website are misleading if you end up in the annex. Very unfortunate
If you don't value your accommodation too much but you value the location. it's fine. Beach and center within walking distance. Breakfast is basic but fine.

Had a nice stay

Fine reception and we could even check in earlier. We had room 33 in the main building.
It was a nice, modern room but the bathroom needed a refresh.
The breakfast buffet was tasty and extensive.
It is within walking distance of the center with cozy shops and a wide range of dining options.
The coast was also within walking distance.
We think it is a must.

Not clean and fresh

The annex where we stayed have outdated hotel rooms
Mold shower, rusted lamp, light piece, mold refrigerator, cabinet hinge loose.
No blackout curtains.
The two single beds slide apart.
Wifi very bad TV kept getting stuck.
We could have reported it immediately but think all rooms are like this.
The building is still being renovated was reported
We didn't have to pay for the 2 Cokes.
Advice pull it straight for the new guests so that they have a well eem fresh and clean stay.
And is a small effort to pick this up

Jammer om te lezen dat uw verblijf niet aan uw verwachtingen heeft voldaan. De door u genoemde punten, zoals de schimmel, het defecte licht, de losse kastscharnier en de slechte wifi, zijn uiteraard niet zoals wij het graag zien.
U verbleef in het bijgebouw, waarvan de kamers inderdaad gepland staan voor een volledige renovatie. Dat neemt uiteraard niet weg dat een kamer schoon en goed onderhouden moet zijn. We nemen uw opmerkingen daarom serieus en zullen de genoemde punten direct nalopen en waar mogelijk herstellen, zodat ook de laatste periode vóór de renovatie prettig blijft voor onze gasten.
Fijn dat we u tijdens uw verblijf in ieder geval tegemoet hebben kunnen komen met de drankjes.
Nogmaals dank voor uw eerlijke feedback.

Wonderful days in this sympathetic hotel

After a good and nice reception had 2 wonderful days on Texel in this sympathetic hotel. The new owners have managed to make it a stylish and welcoming experience. Compliments! Very friendly staff and you can ask them anything. Rooms are brand new and clean. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the stay.
