Nice rooms central location

Lovely spacious room nicely furnished and close to railway and town centre. Helpful staff. Not cheap but worth it. Lovely old building with character.

Horrible.

What a horrible experience. Television not working. Did not use shower as felt dirty. Hotel it is not. It’s a horrible room. Windows with black mould. Everything

Comfy warm and functional

This is a throw back to lockdown. Book online, no reception or checkin all done by text and key lockbox. No good for disabled access.
The room was comfy and warm, with the usual iron, hairdryer, tea coffee etc. new or newish . The bathroom was a little dated.
No food / hotel restaurant is available, but a tescos express up the road and an Indian down the other way. I'd actually not bother with the Indian, not great.

The room was fine but the stairs were steep. Not a lot to do but it was fine for an evening.
