esperiemza definitely positive. located on the first hills of boppard, the belzer pension looks like a private house. the large and bright rooms, bathroom just as much, excellent cleaning. breakfast more 'than good. great value for money.

Awful, unfriendly place, no customer service

We were basically cheated. We made a reservation, paid the room upfront - we booked a junior suite, since we travel with a toddler, we need a bigger place to stay with a bathtub. We got a car problem on the way, so we called the place to say we are a bit late. The owner said no problem. Then we arrived, he gaves us a key and runs away. It appeared they gave up our (PAID) room to someone else (though we called we are coming) and gave us a small, dirty double room. The next day when we complained they even did not offer to compensate for a difference. I cannot underline how bad it was for us to experience this treatment. One can see the place is run as cheap as possible - even the soap dispenser in our bathroom had water inside!

Great place to stay to visit Boppard and Koblenz

Stayed here in June and had a ground floor room with patio door opening onto private garden. Good room and view. The hosts are very friendly and speak good English. The Town river front is a 15 Minute walk and has plenty of Bars and restaurants with seating by there river....nice to relax in whilst watching the river boats. private parking is available on the houses drive or in their own gated parking area....ask for a space first though as could be busy. Breakfast was good and plentiful. A great place to stay to explore the Boppard/Koblenz area if you have transport. The hosts are very friendly and speak good English. we really enjoyed our stay.

A Far Too Brief Visit

Having previously visited Boppard on a School trip over 20 years ago, I thought it would make a nice visit on our European road trip. We were made ever so welcome, and the room was perfect for our needs. It is a very pretty walk down in to the town, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Breakfast is a perfect continental breakfast and provision was made for our little one with a chocolate and vanilla pot instead of a yoghurt.
Should we visit Germany again, and I think we will, we will spend more time in Boppard and stay longer ath Pension Belzer.

Quiet, clean, friendly owners!

A lovely family-run pension, slightly outside of the town of Boppard but a beautiful 15 minute walk which was no problem. Huge bathroom, clean bed linen and towels every other day (chocolates on the pillows!), no bar but drinks available from the owners.
Set on a quiet residential road, great continental breakfast (bread rolls, jams, boiled egg, juice and very good coffee!) and plenty of hot water for showers! Highly recommended!
