Address to remember

A perfect weekend a very nice place away from the house of the quiet host with a pool. The rooms are spacious the places really very clean. Unbeatable Award Value. A host with little care we are delighted with our stay

Perfect

We stayed en route to Paris, this is a gem. Room sizes are generous, the ability to use the pool for a small fee is very welcome after a long day on a motorcycle in hot weather.
A short walk into Nesle centre provided a nice dinner or we could have stayed on the terrace and had pizza delivered.
There are useful communal spaces all clean and well cared for.
The location is quiet and Madame is a fabulous host.
It’s a gem!

First Class

We visited Nesle to lay a ceramic poppy on my wife's Great Grandfathers Grave, located in Nesle Cemetery, on the 100th anniversary of his death.
We stayed overnight at the Au Chardon Bleu and found it a lovely place to stay. The accommodation is first class and pretty much self contained. It is immaculately kept and well appointed.
The Landlady is such a lovely person, so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to meet her.
Breakfast was included in the price and it was excellent, we had the freshest of bread, several varieties of home made jams, eggs from her own chickens, it was a great way to start the day. We will definitely stay here again the next time visit.

Excellent place to stay

Really lovely accommodation . Breakfast included, hosts were very frendly and welcoming . We were visiting WW1 graves and museum, so ideal location. Added benefit for our grandchildren , was use if the indoor pool. Throughly recommend for anyone visiting this area.

A Superb Chambre D'Hote to stay in.

we were touring the battlefield of the Somme and wanted a different location to stay in Nesle being located some 12 miles south of Peronne, the accommodation was excellent being 3 fully self contained bedrooms one with a balcony and a fully fitted kitchen on the top floor of a recently built unit, which also included a swimming pool if required, the owners Alan and Mary are an amazing couple who enjoy playing bagpipes and were ever so helpful and were a delight to stay with, recommending a local restaurant within a 10 minute walk into the town which was also very good, plus other visits and provided discount vouchers within the Peronne area, within a few minutes walk from the accommodation you are in open countryside, parking is available off road right outside, we would most certainly return on any future trip we make to this area
