Exceptional B&B

I was booked here through work. Absolutely stunning B&B thats actually better than some hotels ive stayed in and is spotless. From the beautiful front entrance to the very spacious room every detail had been thought. Would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate, and home away from home

I stayed here several times over the past number of weeks, while I needed to be close to the hospital - it was ideal for this, only a 5 minute walk away.
Karl was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and nothing was ever too much for him. He was extremely accommodating and flexible re anything I asked him.
Each room I stayed in, was immaculately clean, and there is a lovely "home away from home" feel about the place.
As for breakfast, again it was fabulous - a wide variety of breads, fruits, cereal, juices etc, and if you fancy something hot, you can request any combination of anything you want, all washed down with unlimited tea/coffee.
I would HIGHLY recommend staying here if you are visiting Drogheda, and would like to thank Karl and everyone involved in making my stays here a high point of my trips to Drogheda.

Flexible and friendly accommodation.

Trip to visit relative in the local hospital. The B&B is less than ten minutes walk from the hospital. Rooms are bright and comfortable and the staff, including Mia, were friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts are wonderful - the French Bread and Bacon alone are worth the trip.
Hopefully we will return for more of a fun holiday.

Relaxing weekend stay

We recently spent the weekend in Drogheda and we stayed at Maple House, where the owner-hostess (Mai) met us on arrival. We had been booked into the family room in the loft (my guardian angel was obviously out to punish me for eating all of the road trip snacks...there were a lot of stairs to climb!). The room itself was big, gorgeously appointed and the bathroom was spacious. After dropping our bags, we made a bee-line for the back garden. Mai joined us, and I discovered that we share a love for gardening. So we had a lovely and welcoming chat with Mai whilst our child was able to run around and kick his soccer ball in the large open space of the back yard. Breakfast was quite Irish, and Mai made pancakes specially for our child. The breakfast nook is well stocked, and we were welcome to help ourselves to tea, coffee and biscuits for the duration of our stay.
Maple House is also situated close enough to town center that you can easily walk there if you want to find restaurants, coffee shops and local attractions.
We would definitely go back there if we're ever in the area again.

Friendly

Sat nav took us right to the front door, we arrived 2 hours earlier but we’re allowed to check in no problem. Very friendly people, you know when we were too lazy to get up this morning, the breakfast woman came right up to the top floor at 11.15am and asked us did we want any breakfast? We did eventually get up , had a full Irish breakfast and left about noon, as lead back as you get, and the place was spotless, and all the heat you needed that cold night, will definitely be back …top marks
