Overall it was a good place to stay. The only issues being need more exhaust in the rooms to help pull must smell out off the room and having a window to actually open for air flow to help the stuffiness

A home away from home

One of the best places I've stayed in while traveling. I literally can't find anything wrong with this place. The room's perfect; the windows open to the view of the road, but it's so quiet and peaceful, and you're also greeted with the beautiful yellow bells just outside the windows. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. Nang Yayang was very nice to us when we checked in. Also, the food! We had paksiw fish on our first morning here. Sobrang sarap! Tas tuna omelette on the second morning. Sarap! There's also hot shower, which was the icing on the cake. It's a quaint little place that feels like a home away from home. Will definitely come back here when we're back in town!

Beware of the upgrade, they might scam you to pay more than your original booking

I checked in on the afternoon of December 22, paid for my whole stay of 2 nights and was given the key. The manager didn't have change and told me that he'd have the change brought to my room. I proceeded to the room and unlocked it and was surprised at how big it was. In any case, since I was there for business, I took a short nap and prepared stuff for my meeting the following day. I went downstairs and left the key with the manager and was given my change. I got back and got the key to the room which was left on the reception counter.
The following day, I got breakfast and the staff was surprised that I was in another room. I told her that I stayed in the room to which I was issued the keys. I went off to my meeting and soon got a text message that I stayed in the wrong room and had to pay additional, much more than the room rate for which I made a reservation. I texted back that I was willing to move to another room. In any case, I had to leave what I was taking care of to move my stuff. Lo and behold, they moved my stuff without my supervision and I was texted to settle the additional fee. Like I don't know why it was my fault to stay in a room to which I was issued the key to.
So beware if you stay here because you might be upgraded without your knowledge and asked to pay much more than what you booked.
